About FAIR
In October 2014, interior designer Brad Ford organized a modern makers craft fair in upstate New York called Field + Supply. The focus was on modern, elevated craftsmanship showcasing artisans from the Hudson Valley area as well as makers who work in New York City and Brooklyn.
FAIR is an extension of that concept and is now a permanent showroom at the New York Design Center. It is more edited and elevated than the original event upstate, but the focus remains on high-end, handcrafted design and craft. Many of the same designers who showed their work at Field + Supply are represented at FAIR and several of them are craftspeople that Ford has worked with over the years on his own high-end design projects.

Field + Supply
Founded in 2014, Field+Supply is a modern makers craft fair that takes place twice a year along the Hudson River at Hutton Brickyards in Kingston, NY. Each event is a celebration of craft and community which offers visitors the unique opportunity to shop with some of the most talented makers from across the country, enjoy delicious food, live entertainment and other fun activities for the entire family.
Brad Ford ID
With a highly edited vision and a strong hand, New York-based Interior Designer Brad Ford has developed a spare, modern aesthetic with a warm soul. Originally from Arkansas, he moved to Manhattan over 15 years ago and established his own firm in 1998 with an emphasis on residential spaces. His interiors showcase signature designs that are understated yet sophisticated, straightforward, elegant and functional. Balance, light, space and color factor into every design, creating a timeless effect. Clean lines and simple but well-crafted furnishings, with an attention to texture and the highest quality materials are Brad Ford ID essentials.

A Maker Moment is a glimpse into the minds and lives of some of our favorite makers we’ve gotten to know over the years. Coming from diverse backgrounds and finding inspiration in different ways, each maker has a unique perspective, however it’s safe to say they’re all unified with a shared passion for creativity and making things by hand.
